Friday afternoon

Hey ho, how are you today??  I'm just doing fine, the week went over way too fast. On Tuesday we brought my sis to the airport, as she was leaving for Tokyo. We just skyped a sec ago, she is doing fine! She already bought a cell phone, and got to meet fellow exchange students and what not. Seems to be very exciting! Too bad I'm no university sudent anymore XD 

The last couple of days I took a break from revising Japanese to meet some friends. We went to cafes and shopping, and I bought the first eyeshadow of my life, hahaha! But I really love cafes, I could hang around there all day. Anyway, have some fotos!

We went to our beloved Cupcake Cafe again, where we got a new point card! Collect 11 points and you'll get a cupcake or a hot drink for free :-)

We also went to H&M, where we tried on some clothing. I tried the grey sloppy beanie and a lovely ribbon print shirt which was on sale, but in the end I decided not to buy it... :-( But it was lovely anyway. Have some bad quality mobile pics, hahaha! I love those pics XD

Shopping Day

Hello my lovelies, how are you?? I've been so lazy lately, I forgot to post! Sorry for that. Yesterday I had the chance to chat a little bit with the lovely Clairey from Oh So Glams Blog. It was fun! Let's do it again soon. 

Well, at least I've got something to post about today, as I went shopping the whole day with my friend. We paid a visit to a great and huge shopping mall in Essen, called Limbecker Platz which is about half anhour away by train from Düsseldorf.

My friend wanted to go to a cosmetic store called Kiko Cosmetics, to buy nail colours :-) They had a huge variety of lovely colours.

My Working Place

Hello everybody, are you enjoying your Sunday?? Here it is raining the whole day, and it is autumn like atm, but I like autumn better than the heat so I'm totally fine with that. 

I thought that I'd make a post about my part time working place, a jewelry concession shop called SIX. I am working there just once a week, and have to arrange the goods, keep the place clean, and if customers come, answer their questions and advise them in terms of fashion :-) Are you interested? I don't know if I can get pics from my other working place, the Soba Restaurant, so have some from the jewelry :-)

Ah, how much I love doing those birthday posts! :-) Happy Birthday, this time to Kate from Ribbonlicious! She celebrates her birthday today! She is an awesome seamstress of cute and wonderful Lolita fashion! I urge all Lolitas and others, of course too, to visit her blog! Here is a birthday cake for you, Kate! And I still regret not having the chance to meet you a couple of weeks ago, cause I had to work at that day. Hope to see you soon!

Today I went to town with Lara to have lunch, shop, and to watch the soccer game in our local mall. It was a desaster, Germany lost 0:1 to Serbia. The game itself was quite interesting. Still it is very sad Germany lost. I hope that Japan will win at least tomorrow, but the chances are low, cause the opponent is our neigbour country The Netherlands! :-)

I always see them on other bloggers post, so I thought maybe you are interested in seeing my fotos :-)) Do you see the German flag tattoo on my hand?? :-) I was prepared so well for the game, but we lost :-( Ah yes, and the soccer poster which hangs on the door will only be there for 4 weeks, until the World Cup finishes:-) I took this foto by selftimer, so sorry for the bad quality!

Here's my outfit of the day! Took this picture in the clothing shop while Lara was trying some clothes on. I'd love to have such a huge mirror in my room :-) Now you can also see how tiny I am with my 154 cm, hahaha!

Kimono Class and some other Photos

Good news, my PC is working normal again, Thank God!! I can post again whenever I want! :-) I promised to post some new photos this time, so here they are!

Last weekend, my sister and me were invited to my friend's place, where I was allowed to wear her precious Kimono. I have never worn a Kimono before, I only wore Yukata last summer in Japan. It was a great experience, but after putting on thousands of layers (which took about 40 minutes), breathing became really hard, hahaha!

I just couldn't remove my beloved glasses, hahaha! :-)

I just came back from a funny day! I am really tired now! I met with some friends, and went to lunch with my brother and sister. I really wanted to take some pics from the japanese food we shared, but I guess we were so hungry that I simply forgot! Osaka '08 Pics

Today I want to share some photos from my visit to Osaka in Sep/Oct 2008. We took the Shinkansen from Shin-Yokohama to Shin-Osaka, since we had the Japan Rail Pass. If you compare travelling by train in Japan with the German trains here, I must say it was so much more comfortable and easy, even in second class! Ahh, I love the japanese trains. <3 We arrived after 3 hours, went to our (very nice) hostel, and then to explore the neigboorhood.

Christmas is over

Hello everyone, did you have a wonderful Chridstmas as I did? I really hope so. Can't believe it is over again. I got some nice presents this year, mainly money and small stuff you need for everyday life, so I am very satisfied with that. Btw, today I got your Christmas card, my dear Sara! I was so happy about it, and thank you again for your kind words and lovely stickers! I wish you a very nice time in Japan and hope to hear from you soon! Today I just wanted to post some photos from me and my friends in the snow. Due to yesterday's heavy snowfall we have a real weather chaos on the streets, there were delays in train and busses, and I almost slipped every tenth step, hahaha! But still, I really enjoyed this day.
