It's finally there

Hello my friends, are you enjoying the weekend? It is my last weekend here in Germany and this also will  probably the last post from me before heading to Japan on Monday. I don't think I'll be able to post tomorrow, so here we go.
What have I done today? Just met some friends and said goodbye, also at my working place. Some (very little) more packing, and afterwards I'll treat myself with a nice facial fresh mask from Lush, sit in front of the TV and eat loads of Potato Chips :-))

I can't believe the day of finally leaving is almost there. You know, I've waited so long for this day to come, and now that it's finally there I start to think about how it is going to be like to be away from home for such a long time. How will it be like to not sleep in my own bed anymore, to not see my friends every day, to not eat my Mum's cooking :-)) Well no more complaining, the probably biggest adventure in my life is lying in front of me!!

I'll arrive in Tokyo on Tuesday, Nov 2 in the morning, and I'll spend the day with different organisational matters, so I hope to post as soon as possible again. Thank you for always reading my blog and for your support, I'll give my best to blog for you! Stay tuned, and see you guys in Tokyo in then!

3 more days

3 days left until my departure to Japan! Time is really flying now, but I managed to see all the friends I wanted to see and say proper goodbye (still meeting some people tomorrow and on the weekend, though).

Oh, I'm glad you liked the pics of the last post, soon I have the chance to go and look for cute things to take fotos from by myself, haha! Look forward to that!

I had my last shift at the restaurant today, and on Saturday I'll give back my uniform and say proper goodbye to everyone. It will be sad, but I'm sure I'll come back again as a guest XD

For lunch I met up with my tandem partner and very good friend, this is what we had!

 Tori-Teriyaki with salad

 Shoyu Ramen

New Lush gets!! Ultimate Shine Shampoo, Secret Santa Gift and Snow Fairy. Bonus get: You've been Mangoed Oil Bath Melt XD I really love that Snow Fairy Shower Gel, which is only avaible at Christmas time. Well, and that nail polish is not from Lush XD

More Lush goodies: Gift set, and I got that fresh mask for free and it is almost full. Wheeeee!! Just tried it an hour ago, and it makes your skin so soft :-)

Then my friend Lara and me met up for some hot drinks at Starbucks and for Purikura in the local japanese book store. Thank you for scanning, Lara, you look so cute on Purikura, I'm looking forward to doing thousands of them when you're finally in Japan soon!!

Okay, it's almost time to go to bed, tomorrow I have to get up really early to pick up my Bachelor's certificate at the university :-) Yeah, finally I get this piece of paper, haha! See you!

New foto replenishment

Hello, how are you? I'm doing fine and I'm counting the days until my departure! No, kidding, today I just did nothing, in the late afternoon I have to get to work earlier to supervise my new successor at the restaurant, haha! I have to explain everything to her, show her how we work etc. It's weird to refer to myself as her superviser of the day cause she is a couple of years older than me, and since she has already spent a year in Japan I suppose her Japanese must be better than mine, haha! But she's a very nice girl, so I can leave my working place with a good feeling. My last day at the restaurant will be this Thursday, and I'm really sad I have to leave!

Because I have to get to work early today I just leave you with some new fotos from my sis she sent the other day. Enjoy and till next post! (Btw I realized I posted quite often lately, this is what you get when you prepare your travel early, enough time to post for your readers XD)

Tokyo Dome City (where the Jump Store is located XD)

 Happy Halloween at "Freshness Burger"

 Some Ramen

 Plushies Display!!!

The WC Store in Shinjuku Lumine Est. I know many of you know and love the gal brand WC. But I still wonder why they had to choose such a weird name for their label XDD Well, since the clothes are really cute it shall be forgiven :-)

 Sea Chicken Mayonaise Bread

The picture of the day: cute bear and turtle bread!!

Great places to visit in Tokyo: Jump Shop

Can you believe it that I'll leave for Tokyo in exactly one week (and a few hours)?? My counter is not lying XD I'm done packing and am ready to take off, so to speak. I'll try to spend my last week in Germany with family and friends and to slowly say good bye to everything here. I realized that I couldn't sleep well the last days, mabye because of excitement? =)

As for today's post I came up with a nice idea when my sis send me some new pics from Tokyo. I might start a weekly series with the topic "Great places to visit in Tokyo" to introduce some cool stores or places to be other than Shibuya or Harajuku which most of the tourists have been to. Would you like to read such posts? So, this is my first prototype post on the series (I've always wanted to do a series, after having seen it on great blogs).

Do you guys read Manga, specially Shonen-Manga (Boys-Manga)? I do, even though those Manga are written for boys they have become very popular among girls, too. And Japan wouldn't be Japan if there wasn't any merchandising for such pouplar Manga as ONE Piece, Naruto or Bleach. My sis visited the Jump Store (Jump Magazine is the most popular Shonen-Manga Mag in Japan) the other day, have some fotos!

 Jump Shop Entrance

Luffy (ONE Piece) and Son-Goku (Dragon Ball)

 Naruto Chara chart

 Itachi and Sasuke

 Bleach Goods

 Naruto's Coin Purse "Gamakichi"

 Naruto Jigsaw Puzzle

 Bleach Pins

 ONE Piece goodies

ONE Piece is sooo cool! :-)

Halloween Bleach

How to get there?? JR Suiidobashi Station, Tokyo Dome City! :-) Hope I can go there, too. See you!

Botanical Garden Visit and others

I'm glad you liked my sis fotos from the last post, she'll be happy to hear that! For today I'm going to spam you with some random pictures and some from my visit to the botanical garden of my university which I've never been to despite being a student for almost 4 years (shame on me, haha). Regarding my travel preparations, my suitcases are almost packed! I put some of my favourite clothes, toilet articles, meds, presents etc, and I have the feeling there's still so much space in my suitcase!  What shall I take more with me? XD Anyway, here are some fotos to enjoy!

New fotos from Japan

Thank you everyone for liking my new layout! Now that it's some days old I begin to love it very much, too.

Today I just went to the market with my Mum, and as I think you're not interested in our groceries, I decided to play my trump card to make a proper post, hehehe! As many of you know, my sis is in Tokyo already doing an exchange year at Meiji Daigaku, and she keeps sending me nice pics (maybe to tease me?? XD) via Skype and I think she has nothing against me posting them here. Mostly the fotos show cute stuff and food. Enjoy!

Meiji Daigaku Surugadai Campus Main Building. Kinda amazing if I compare it to my university in Düsseldorf, which is just ugly XD

Rilakkuma Ufo Catcher! I'm gonna catch them all! (I've got an overload of Pokemon lately, haha!)
