My week in pictures XD

Hi friends, how are you today? I'm fine as always, thanks XD I thought it was time for another (boring) update! My notebook case is as good as finished, I just need to sew on the buttons and make a little cross stiching on the cover. I'll post the whole finished thing in a few days :-) Until then have some other fotos!

 Chocolate massacre!! XD

 I made these with the bunny chocolate: Japanese "Nama-Choco" some kind of easy-melt soft chocolate. I gave some of them to Charlotte as a welcome present when she finally moved backed to Düsseldorf. Now I can see her as often as I want, just as back in our time in Tokyo, haha. I love all of my friends, but being with her gives me back some kind of Tokyo feeling, sounds stupid I know :)

A famous German childrens' yoghurt is giving away freebies at the moment, it's a "plant your own cress starter kit" I of course had to give it a try!

 I had two eat two little packages of yoghurt to make them be the pot, fill in some flower soil and water it every day. I placed them on the windowsill and just wait. Next time I'll post a picture of the growth process.

 Two cards I made for my japanese friends, well, there were times I was much more creative, lol

I got this lovely package from my sis today! While she is still in Tokyo she is my personl shopping service. This package contained sweets, cookies, my favourite pasta sauce and some cosmetics :p I'll post a picture of me wearing the new Uniqlo CARE BEAR shirt soon.

Okay, that's it again. Tomorrow I'll be at my brother's place to have a yummy barbeque!! I shall post pictures and make you all hungry :-)

Where's May gone to??

Hello friends, it's been a while! I've been a bad blogger lately, sorry for that! Somehow, even though I'm doing almost nothing atm, there seems to be no time nevertheless, how weird! Do you have that sometimes too, or is it just me? XD Well, half of May is already over without me having done something properly, lol.

So what have I been doing the last couple of days? As most of you know I'm a fan of writing letters and doing crafty things :-) I wrote lots of letters and started a new crochet project, with a special crochet technique (therefore the long needle)!

 My new crochet project (please don't mind my ugly hand XD It tends to roll itself, so I tried to hold it!) What will it become once it's finished? I keep you updated about the progress I make!

Lately I discovered a great cooking site called Nekobento! It is in German but if you want to have a look! There are many recipes for japanese dishes and sweets, and I wanna make Nama-Choco the next days, using the big Lindt bunny! Finally it gets eaten up XD Oh and what you see on the foto is called a "Taiyaki-Pan" I wanna have such a pan! I'll send my sis in Tokyo to buy that for me!

Oh, and another item on my wishlist atm is an electronical dictionary for German/Japanese! I can't decide between these two models, the black one is from 2010, and the white one from Feb. 2011. I'll have my sis check the prizes, but I think I have to pay around 350 Euro for either of them. The new one must be a bit more expensive I guess.

 Have you alreay heard that Uniqlo is sellng Care Bear T-Shirts at the moment?? I wanna have one of them so badly, I've been a fan of the Care Bears since early childhood :-) And Im thinking about getting an overall from Olive des Olives, one of my fav jap. brands. I've always wanted to have one! 

Lol, and if anyone is asking now how I'm gonna pay for all these items, I'd say luckily I still have a month and a halfs worth of my last salary from my work at Tully's in Tokyo. I left Japan before I could  dissolve my bank account over there, and so I'm gonna send my sis to get me the stuff I want, haha. 

Tomorrow I'll have a reunion meetup with my former roommate Charlotte! I haven't seen her since the day after the big earthquake in Japan. That will be a lot of fun and there's something to post about! XD

Lately in Düsseldorf

Here I am again, dear friends! Hope all of you are doing fine! I'm again late with posting, but you can't even imagine how boring my life is atm, so I've almost got nothing to post about, lol. I started looking for job now, hopefully I find something soon to have a regular everyday life again. Sleeping until 11 am every day is not really a fulfilling life, haha! Usually I spend my time hanging out with friends, doing some housework and my internet stuff ;) 

On May 14 there the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Düsseldorf,  I think I won't leave the house on that day and just see the Live broadcoast in TV. I avoid masses of people if possible XD Hmm, if Lena will really be able to win again, I doubt that but I wish her good luck nevertheless :-)

 

 

There will be a public viewing near the Rhine River with a lot of viewers XD My elder sis was at the public viewing in Hanover last year to cheer for Lena, and she said it was crowded but the atmosphere was awesome! There were even Lena-Shirts distributed for free, lol. Well, there is always something up here in Düsseldorf XD

A few days ago I was at the Aquazoo with my friend, an aquarium where you can admire a lot of fish, and other animals living in or around water :) It was so much fun, and we made a lot of fotos. Somehow it was so relaxing to watch the fish, I could have spent hours just standing in front of them, lol. Have some fotos!

A few days ago I was able to skype with Naka for the first time! She was so cute, trying to speak with me in German as a practice for her German exams. I hope I could help you with your preparation, let's skype soon again, this time in English as I really need some practice as well! 

Oh and I was chatting with a friend some minutes ago, and there is the chance I might be involved in a new adventure far away from home again! It's not Japan, but oh my God, this is so exciting! I keep you updated :-) So far for today, see you soon again!
