Just Some Update

Hi friends, I know I've been scarce on my own blog lately, my job is really time consuming since I have late shifts only the next two weeks. You have to imagine it like that when I have to work from 12:00-21:00 I have to leave house at 11:00 and return at 22:00. But actually I like late shifts, the late flights are usually more comfortable to deal with. But then on Friday I had to deal with the first catastrophe (well, thank God there was another colleague with me). We were checking in passengers to Leeds Bradford with the Airline Jet2.Com just as usual, but then we got a phone call from our back office, who told us the aircraft landed in Cologne and not as planned here in Düsseldorf, and we have to deal with the passengers while the back office is organizing busses to transfer to Cologne. I think I've never talked so much English before in two hours, lol. Most of the passengers were British and stayed cool, while waiting for more information, and in the end the flight was totally cancelled and the passengers were transferred to the next hotel. Some of them told me that happend often with aircrafts of Jet2.Com... typical for low cost carrier. Well, I don't think I'll ever use this airline, hahaha. Well, this showed me the work at the airport never gets boring and you learn how to deal with crisis management, lol. I can keep on telling you guys stories if you want XD

Random Pics Update

Hey friends, hope you all had a good start into the weekend! I have three days off including today, our shift superviser gave us Monday off, so great, I really appreciate every free day I have after working so much the last weeks! Since Thursday I have my airport security card and I was immediately assigned for a gate, and I was like no I can't do that yet, the gate coaching is next week! Yeah, still I had to go, but the guy at the security check was nice and showed me how to open the door, get the right exit etc. So much more to learn, I can't wait for the next seminars!

So just to post a short update before I leave to my relaxing weekend have some random pics :)

 Surprise of the week: My beloved friend Lou from Switzerland sent me this gorgeous huge package with lots of nice scrapbooking goodies and yummy chocolate in it!! I was so happy abut this thoughtful present, and I can't thank you enough Lou! Miss you so much *chu* I really hope to visit you in summer!

 Another cute surprise was in my mail box on Tuesday, my friend Anne sent me these super lovely Rilakkuma goodies :) Thank you so much, I'll reply soon! Too bad the really good friends all live so far away from me and we can see each other only once or twice a year...

 I picked up the latest issue of my fav magazine SCawaii, there are lots of coordinates I'd love to recreate! :)

Reunion with Ashley

Hey friends, I know I've been bad on blogging lately!! My new job is keeping me busy, specially in the first weeks, where everyone of my new collegues and me have to adjust on working 100% again. Usually my day starts at 7am and if I'm lucky I return 6pm, or even later. Then I just have some dinner, check my internet stuff and sleep. We suffer heavy lack of sleep, if you wanna call it like that. And sometimes we get headaches as well XD

So many have asked how I'm doing at my new working place. We have passed the seminars and exams, there are still two seminars in front of us next week, but in the meantime coaching started as well! So since Friday last week we have to go to work in our uniform and watch colleagues or do "learning by doing"! It is very interesting but also very exhausting, most of us leave with heads full of quesions which we hope will slowly dissappear with the time. I'll keep you guys updated!

So today I wanna post about the reunion meet-up with my friend Ashley, whom I've not seen since my trip to NYC last year in December. Ashley is going to Ireland for an internship and decided to have a week holiday in Düsseldorf before so that we could meet up with her. We already meet over a week ago, so sorry the post is late! Enjoy the fotos!

Japan Day 2012 (Heavy Picture Spam)

Hi friends, it's been some time since my last post, but work is keeping me soooo busy! I'm deadly tired every day, and still have to get used to work 100% again, soon I'll do an update about my new job XD

But for now I'm gonna share lots of cute an funny fotos with you from the J-Day last Saturday (Jun 02) which I attended with my lovely friends Theresa, and Anne, Stefan and Tabea who came to Düsseldorf to visit us and te Japan Day! It was so great to see Tabea again after 8 months, and for Theresa and me it was the first time meeting Anne and Stefan, they are all so nice people and became truely good friends to us now <3

I unfortunately couldn't spend the whole day with my dears as a stupid seminar made me stay at the airport until 5pm, but we had a lot of fun in the evening as also, have some pictures!!! (Most of the credits go to my friends) We made tons of pics and I can only show you some, usually the fine ones XD Fotos are self-explaining, so enjoy!

A huuuuuge thanks to my friends Theresa, Tabea, Anne and Stefan, the J-Day wouldn't have been so much without you, it was so sad saying goodbye at the airport. We are missing you a lot and hope to see you guys in Berlin this summer <3<3<3 I also wanna thank everyone else who helped to create such fond memories of that great day!
