Sunday with Friends

Hi there!! Did you have a nice weekend? I definitely had, and it even goes on kinda, tomorrow is National Holiday in Germany! Again a boring, but free day! I'll go swimming early in the morning, looking forward to!

Concerning jobhunting, I've made it to the next step in recruiting at the Company XX, after a phone interview I am invited to a personal interview on Wednesday! I'm kinda nervous, but I know I can present myself better at a personal conversation than on the phone, so let's hope jobsearch will end this week! And there will be a premiere on this blog, too, as you will see me in a business suit for the first time. Wait till Wednesday and laugh :)

Well, to start showing pictures this post, I stole the following group picture from Theresa's birthday party from her blog. I didn't make one with my cam so I had to wait for her to post it :)

 Today I went to the gardening center to get these cool new plants as I've discovered gardening as new hobby, hahaha!! We bought Zucchini, Peperoni and Tomatoes, I really do hope they will grow and have fruits soon!

So, on Sunday then Theresa, her cousin Julia, their two japanese friends Arai-san and Kobayashi-san and me decided to meet up for Karaoke!! But, as we were super unlucky, the Box was closed, and we went to Cafe Relax first to kill off some time as we presumed that the box may open only later (there was no sign of opening times at the box...) But no, we were wrong and it stayed closed... We needed to make plan B and went playing billiard! It was fun, but honestly, I failed so hard... XDDD Anyways, have some pictures!

Theresa's Birthday Party

Hi friends, are you enjoying the weekend? I actually wanted to write this post earlier, but I was tired all day long and I had to skype with my two friends in JP, so it had to wait until tonight :) Yesterday was Theresa's birthday party at Restaurant El Paso in Düsseldorf, to which I was invited and it surely was a lot of fun!! Have some fotos!

 This foto was from Wednesday where we just had some ice-coffee at World Coffee Bar! I haven't uploaded this pic yet (stolen from Theresa). Thank you for always being such a good friend!! I enjoyed your birthday party!

 I thought about what to wear for this special occasion, and since I have many mags now I've got enough inspiration! This was a coordinate from Seventeen May issue! 

 Well, I couldn't copy it 100%, as I had no black rock shirt and light Converse. But still I'm quite satisfied with the result. Later I changed the shoes as well.

 Caro, Sonja and Claudia!! The birthday party was my chance to meet Claudia for the first time!! I'm reading her blog for a while now and was really happy to finally meet her. She was so beautiful and nice :)

At midnight we all gave Theresa her presents, enlightened some sparklers and sang the birthday song! I really hope she likes my presents, as I gave her an invitation to our Cupcake Cafe and a Professional Portrait Fotoshooting with outfit change and foto print, all operated by a well known foto studio here in Düsseldorf. I wanted to give her something special, I hope I succeeded XD Then we all parted our ways. It was a super comfortable evening, thank you everybody!

Well, tomorrow we'll see each other again for Karaoke with some friends!! Looking forward to that! <3<3

Love From Far Far Away

Hi friends, just a short update today! When I was returning home from my weekly swimming (I made it up to 30 rounds in the sports pool, yay, I'm so proud, lol) there were two surprises waiting for me in my postbox XD The lovely misses Ande and Mika, my amazing friends from America sent me great happiness <3 Thank you so much :) I have to share that right away!

 Ande sent me a lovely fask mask from this brand I got my hands on while I was in NY, I have to say it is really good, just tried it this evening, it makes really soft skin!! From Mika I got that lovely Disney California card, which is pure love :) Displayed it on my shelf <3

 It was raining endlessly today, so I decided to write letters which were piling up over the last weeks (the two from the left are received and not written from me ones)

 Then a beautiful rainbow appeared cause it was raining while the sun was shining!

 You can even see another one, but the colours are not so deep :)

Too bad my cam can't really show how beautiful the rainbow was, the colours were so bright and shiny!!

Well, so much about this short post, now I'm really looking forward to Theresa's birthday party on Friday! I think I won't post until then, so see you and have nice week!

The Last Days

Wow, I haven't blogged over a week now, but that was just because I don't have anything to share with you right now, hahaha. Everything's still as it is since last post, I'm still waiting for some replies concerning jobhunting (I called one company back to ask why it takes so long for them to reply, but they just told me to be more patient and as soon as it is decided I will be contacted, I still might have chances then), so I spend my days helping with the household, doing groceries, scrapping etc. 

On Saturday I went to Essen with my Mum and sis, we found out there was a Primark Store there, and I shopped, of course!! Primark is awesome, I spent 13 Euros only and got so many pieces! I also discovered another super cool store called Monki, which is totally my style! It is a swedish brand, and I haven't seen it around here, only that some super cool fashion bloggers buy there stuff there, so I was happy to get the chance to purchase something as well! Have some pictures!

 Pink shorts!! ( I bought lots of more items at Primark, but those were most inner-and underwear, so not that interesting, lol. But they were all on Sale, Primark really is awesome! Have to go back there soon again!)

 My dream salopette from Monki! Really, I like their stuff, most of those could be used to create the SCawaii-Looks I love so much. 

 On Sunday I went to drink Bubble tea ith my family, later Charlotte joined us :) (My point card is full now, see how much Bubble Tea I consume, lol)

Last but not least I wanna show you some more pages of my scrapbook, which is growing more and more, by now, over half of the book is full. Right now I don't have any more fotos to scrap with, so I'll have to wait till Theresa's birthday party on Friday, I guess :) The fotos don't really show how much work I put into each page, you can't see the details and such but anyways :)

Okay, have a wonderful rest weekend! Lately the weather has been aweful here, really April-ish with sun, rain, sun, rain, and even strong wind and cold. But right to Theresa's birthday party the sun and warmth will be back!! :))

My lovely friend Ande tagged me for a question and answers game, and since I usually forget about these caring tags wonderful people give me (sorry, not intentionally!! ;) I'll do it right away!! 

11 Things about Me:

2. One of my fav animals is rabbit <3

3. Even though I cannot stand romantic movies, the only exception is Titanic. I remember most phrases from the movie because I've seen it toooooo many times by now!

4. I haven't used make up my whole teenage years, I started to wear make up with 23 ;) That was two years ago.

5. I started to swim once a week and I like it! (This is our local swimming pool)

6. I suffer from pollen allergy during March/April every year. Luckily it is a light allergy, but still annoying.

 7. It has always been my dream to write a book (even though I have no talent) and to become rich with it! I should hire a ghost writer, since I have many ideas, but no talent in writing :)

8. If we are already talking about books: I hardly read, but my fav book is "Brave New World". Why? Because I have a weird taste XD

9. Next year in spring, I'll visit my Mum's home country Vietnam for the very first time in my life. I consider Germany my home and Japan my second, but it will hopefully be an exciting experience!

10. Until now I have dyed my hair only ONCE at the age of 14 or 15, can't remember. And there was not really that much of  a difference. And I must say I love my natural colour, so there is no need to dye XD

11. As an elementary school kid I wanted to become a pianist, even though I didn't receive any piano lessons! Maybe I was jealous of my classmates who all learned any kinds of instruments, and I didn't!

1. Who is your celebrity crush? I think I have none, lol.
2. Do you want any tattoos or piercings? No, I don't think they suit me!
3. What was/is your favorite subject in school? History and English!
4. If you could be a character from any TV show, who would it be and why? I would love to be Hayden Panettiere from "Heroes" cause she is invulnerable! I could do a lot of things if I had her ability!
5. What do you want to be when you grow up? ^___^ Rich!! XDD And hopefully I'll own my own business then :)
6. Which is better: chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla!
7. What is your favorite thing about yourself? I still have to find that out, I think!
8. What is the most important quality you look for in a friend? I want to have friends who have a similar interests like me, and people I can trust, have much fun together with and who stay with me, whatever happens.
9. Is there anything in your life that you wish you could change? What is it, and why? I wish I was born a little bit richer, money does not solve all problems, but if there was enough money in my life there wouldn't be some problems as well!! XDDD
10. Who is your favorite Disney character? My fav Disney Movie is Toy Story, and my fav toy is Pea in the Pods, do they count as a character??
