Sunny Afternoon with Theresa

Hi friends, hope you had a lovely weekend! I had, and the new week started well! I met Theresa today very spontanously, I texted her at 1 pm and asked if she was free to go to town strolling around and enjoying the sunshine outside, and luckily she had time. But of course I was late again, the laundry had to be done! XDD

As my birthday is nearing I'm thinking about celebrating it with friends, nothing special, just a dinner or an evening together doing something fun. Two of my best friends are in JP right now, enjoying their exchange, so too bad I can't invite them, let's see whol else can/wants to come :) More details to that soon! See you!

Before the Weekend

Hi friends, it's been a while!! How are you doing? Since a few days the weather is wonderful here in Germany, and everybody is enjoying it! Hope you can make yourself some nice hours outside in the sun as well.

My jobhunting is still going on, I got a rejection from the last company I applied to. It is really frustating when they say you are either over-qualified for a part-time postion or you don't have enough business/traders experience cause you didn't study economics for a full time position, this is a vicious circle! But I already have applied for another position, I hope to get at least an invitation for an interview, this would be such an awesome place to work for, so keep your fingers crossed for me XDD

Well, because of the lovely weather I spent most of the time outside doing walking, window shopping and eating! Have some fotos!

Then I had Sushi with my sister! Yeah, I know lately I only post pictures of food and fun, you must think I have a wondeful life which I spend in cafes and always eating, hahahaha. But those moments are rare and very special to me, most of my time I just help with the household, doing grocery, cleaning, jobhunting or just being home scrapping, reading, watching TV, things which don't cost any money :)

 I made Harusame Salad for the first time today! It tasted good, but still I had the feeling there was something missing... I made this salad for my personal project, which you can read more about at the end of this post!

 The gigantic Lindt Easter Bunny returned!! I wait for him to return every year!! XDD

Valentine's Day with Charlotte

Another topic, my personal project for the next month: I haven't told you yet, but since a couple of days I'm living without eating meat. I'm not trying to become a vegetarian, or to diet (I already consider myself as a half-vegetarian anyway) but I wanted to have a little aim and to proof my endurance! So I said I want to be a vegetarian for a month, and I'm gonna keep my word. If your will is strong you can endure anything, that is what I believe, and I'm trying this for myself now. At the moment I'm trying to create some super yummy vegetarian dishes, cooking and experimenting is so much fun! I'll keep you guys posted about my little project, are you maybe interested to see what I eat all day long?? XDD

Thursday I went to the swimming pool with my Mum, it has been over 4-5 years since I last swam!! I don't even own a proper swimsuit, I only have my old one I used to wear as a teenie. It is so sad that I still fit into my old swimsuit, I haven't grown any inches since then, hahaha. Anyways, I made 22 rounds in the sports pool, and I'm quite proud of myself! Why you think? Cause there is nobody hating sports more than me, lol. Maybe I will do swimming once a week from now on?? Let's see.

Sorry the last part has become kinda philosophical, I didn't  intended to write so much. It is just that I have quite some time now to think about me and my life and what I would like to change to grow more as a person. Maybe it is just that my 25th birthday is nearing and the feeling of becoming old gets worse XD Anyways, have a wonderful weekend my friends!! See you :)

I-Pad 3 Release and Ande's Visit in Düsseldorf

Hi friends, how was your weekend? I spent it with my friend back from school times, I had a lovely sleep-over with a lot of fun, good shows and yummy food! It felt good to not think about recent difficulties, hahaha! And now I finally found some time again to post for you!

Many of you surely were curious about my secret mission in Oberhausen! Well, I went there to get the newest version of the I-Pad, but nor for me, but for my brother, who wanted to go himself, but in the end couldn't because of a business trip, so I went instead! It was Release Day, so you can imagine the crowds!! Let the pictures speak!

 My plans for battle! The day began early, at 5 am, as we expected crowds in front of the only Apple Store in our state...

 This was when we arrived at 7:30 am, and we were at the end of the line, lol. You can't even see the entrance from here!

 The line was long, I guess some several hundred people!

 From the train station! Mostly it were man lining up, I was the only young girl, lol

 Then the Apple Store staff came outside to greet the line!

 Then the store manager gave us tickets for the product we wanted to purchase!

 After waiting in line outside for about three hours I finally reached the inside! They only took like 10 people inside the store at once, so no chaos broke out! But everyone had a personal staff, the service was very good!

 I can't believe there is only one Apple Store in the whole of Northrhine WestphaliaXD

It was a crazy event, which I've never joined before, even though it was crowded, everyone knew how to behave and it was very civilized, the staff was very friendly! I was so tired when I returned home though, but my brother was happy to get his ipad on release day! XD

Then I can finally post the pictures from my meetup with Catrin, Anna and Ande two weeks ago, time flies!! Ande send me the pictures, so all credits to her, except the Puri which was a scan from Catrin! Enjoy! Check out the girls blogs to read more detailed information about that day :)

Funny Sunny Thursday

Hey friends, this week I am so productive concerning posting!! :) I hope you like that. Today I went to the Cupcake Cafe with my sis, we had yummy cupcakes with hot chocolate drinks, and since the weather was so wonderful warm and sunny Charlotte and me decided to have a spontanous meet-up to hang around and to just enjoy this lovely day :) Have some fotos!

Then my sis had to leave for work and I was on my own, making my way to the japanese bookstore where I was supposed to wait for Charlotte :) I made some fotos from the shop's window while waiting.

 Omg, I want that huuuge kiroi tori soooooo much!! Is there anyone who would like to give that to me for my birthday XDDDD

 Oh and this Rilakkuma, too please!!! My birthday is very soon, lol

 We went to eat Sushi@Maruyasu again! Honestly I eat so much Sushi nowadays, it has become an afternoon snack for me :)
