No time!

Sorry I couldn't update lately. I have a deadline for my bachelor thesis presentation on coming Monday, and it is so time consuming! But my professor wants a powerpoint presentation, hell no! I have made so many powerpoints in my "university career" until now, but still, I am very nervous. I wish Monday was already over... After my presentation, I can really start writing my thesis, this will also keep me busy, but don't worry! I will update regulary then! Did I mention that I hate university? XDDDD

Osaka '08 Pics

Today I want to share some photos from my visit to Osaka in Sep/Oct 2008. We took the Shinkansen from Shin-Yokohama to Shin-Osaka, since we had the Japan Rail Pass. If you compare travelling by train in Japan with the German trains here, I must say it was so much more comfortable and easy, even in second class! Ahh, I love the japanese trains. <3 We arrived after 3 hours, went to our (very nice) hostel, and then to explore the neigboorhood.

I am bored :-)

I know I shouldn't be bored, since I actually have tons of things to do (I started writing on my graduation paper yesterday)! But I like to distract myself a bit, so I had a look into my foto folders again. When I saw all my fotos from Japan I became really nostalgic and thought: Why not share some of your travel experiences with the others? I've been to Japan 3 times (and a fourth time is definitely to come soon!), so why not! If I have nothing else to post about,  I think it's okay to post about my travels once in a while. I hope this will make my blog a little bit more interesting! XD

Bento Cooking

Here I proudly present you the result of my bento cooking. I had help from my little sister, and I also had to change the design a bit, since I didn't have all the ingredients. But it was very tasty and much fun to make it. The most difficult parts were the bear shaped carrots. Do they even look a bit bear-like? Carving is indeed difficult! The octopus sausage was more easy to cut, they even have littel faces :-)

Finally it is weekend again! What are you going to do? Well, I have to start writing my graduation paper, but I won't sit at my desk for the whole weekend, hahaha! I think I will go my brother's place to test his new Blue Ray Player, do some knitting (I will post about my knitting progress soon) and reading. And yes, I want to do some cooking too, since I discovered this cute bento (japanese lunch box) yesterday! now I am really motivated to try this out! 

Late update

Thank you everyone for sharing your text message stories! I have some more news on that. The last two days, I missed two calls, and today I got another message. I haven't answered to those, of course and it seems that guy is kind of persistent. One can never know who is really behind this, so I am really cautious. What shall I do now? Somehow I am kind of afraid and know that I should ignore it all. But a very little (!) piece of me is kind of curious...

Okay, another topic now. The last days I wasn't able to update because I was watching DVD the whole time. Now I am so much into a very old TV-Series called "Dynasty" (Denver-Clan). My sis got the first season for Christmas, and I thought why not try watching it? Now I love it! <3 Pamela Sue Martin is so beautiful! What are your favourite TV-Series atm? I am sure everyone has a favourite!

About text messages

Thank you everyone for your encouraging words on my last post! I feel better and so relieved now. And sorry for that kind of post, normally I am not a person to give up and resign so early! I will do somehing for the paper at the weekend, too, since there is this snowstorm going on outside :-) I will take some pictures later on.

Something weird happened yesterday evening. I got a text message with New Year's greetings from a mobile number unknown to me. But I was sure it was from an old school friend, since I gave her my number in the holidays. So I replied. Then another text message came from that person, telling me that he doesn't know me. He wrote some more text messages telling me about himself. Yes, those messages were from a 31 year old guy, who just made a mistake in sending. I replied too, polite as I am, (he seemed quite persistent) then I tried to stop it by lying my prepaid card is empty and so  I hope he won't call or something like this.Then I would just ignore it, I think. Oh my, this has never happened to me before. But a funny story, isn't it? Anyone, any similar stories?

NYC Cake Part 2

Here it is!

Honestly, it does not look as nice as Starbucks' NYC Cake, but it tastes just as great! (Nooo, I don't wanna praise myself :-)))) Next time I will try to make it even better.

As for today, I finally managed to get something done for my graduation paper. It was just a little, but I feel so much better now than yesterday. I guess it was my bad conscience, everyone is trying so hard and it is just me who is lazy. XD I will spend the weekend working on that stupid paper, too, I think.

Oh and yes, the weather forecast predicted a snow storm coming to Germany today. But the region where I live won't be affected too much. If there's snow, I will post some fotos again.

New York Cheese Cake

I decided to do some baking again, since I was longing for a piece of NY Cheese Cake from Starbucks so much! But a little piece costs about 3 Euros (about 4,50$). That's way too expensive, since I really want to eat a lot of that cake. The ingredients I needed for this cake were under 5 Euros (7,50$). Anyways, have some fotos! You will get to see the finished cake in my next post.

Hello my dear friends, did you all have a good start into the new year? I am sorry for not updating for so long, somehow it is not easy to think about something like that while you are in your holiday. The last days I was  more or less the most laziest person on this world, I was only knitting, reading, eating, watching stuff and playing Nintendo Wii, hahahaha. But as university starst again next week, I think I will be forgiven for that :-)
