Great news and other stuff

I got my salary (currently I am working part-time as a home tutor) and what was the first thing I did with the money??

I bought some Jelly Bellies! The Ice-Cream Parlor Assorted Mix is sooo great! I couldn't stop eating it! :-))

Then I visited my japanese friend who had a birthday surprise for me! A Kireizukikun mug cup and towel! It is one of the newest charcters from san-x, check it out at san-x Net.

But the most important news which have been dominating my whole weekend was that another japanese friend of mine is pregnant! I did not hear from her for about 4 months or so, and then she sent me those kind of explosive message. At first I was really shocked to hear that, because she is only 20 years old, but when I got used to the fact that she is going to become a mother in September, I was really happy for her. Because she had to overcome so many difficulties in her young life, yet she was never giving up. I met her and her bf in September last year, I think he's a good guy and will care for her. If not, I will find myself in the next plane to Japan, since I really love her like she was a memeber of my family. She always gave me a good time while I was in Japan with her. So the next time I'm gonna see her I will see the three of them!

Ai, me, my sis and her bf in Sep 2009. My beautiful friend, I still can't believe it, your life is gonna change, but I am sure everthing will work out! 愛ちゃん、すごく大好きだよ!

My next post will be about Japan again, but I still cannot decide what to write about! So look forward! :-))

Thank you!!

First of all, I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all the participants of the giveaway. I did never even dream of such a great number of participants, and I am just overwhelmed how great you all are. I just thought it was a boring giveaway, with so little prizes (since I have already seen so great ones from other bloggers) which only my first 23 followers would folllow. But now I have over 50 at once, and that makes me really happy, knowing that people like to read my posts. Please go on supporting me and my blog, even after the giveaway ends. There will be other giveaways in the near future, so it's worth following! I wish you all could win!

Another topic: Lately, I'd love to eat some Jelly Bellys again!

They cost 2,19 Euros (2,89$) per 100 gr. quite expensive but they are so yummy! I want to try the ice cream parlor jellys so much, maybe I just buy a pack today in town...XDDD Sometimes, I cannot live with sweets. Today seems to be such a day again! :-) Do you feel like that, too, sometimes?? Anyway, have a nice day everyone!

Surprise Post: My First Giveaway!!!!

Yeah, finally I can write my surprise post I promised to do for so long now! As I have entered several giveaways by now (and won my first!), I wanted to do an own one so badly. Actually I wanted to wait until 25 followers, but anyways. This is my 50th post, so why not take this as a reason to hold a giveaway? It is my very first giveaway, so forgive my little prizes. I have never done this before, so I have thought a lot about what prizes would be fitting. But since most of my followers are young and fashionable ladies who share my taste in cute stuff from Japan and I still have stuff left from my last trip to Japan in summer '09, I decided to use them for my giveaway. :-)

To cut a long story short, this is a thank you for my followers, who have accompanied me since I began with blogging, who were with me in good and harsh times (I must have been awful the last months, always complaining about the paper :-). I am so glad I met you in the blogosphere, you are awesome people. Thank you for your kind words in your comments. Knowing that such cool people are reading my posts really makes me happy. Please go on supporting me and my blog.

Here are the rules:
1. You must be a follower (new followers are welcome, too).
2. For one entry leave a comment saying: Enter Me!
3. For 2 additional entries link my giveaway on your blog or on any other net platform and post that link.

So you can earn 3 entries in a whole! International entries are welcome. The giveaway ends on May, 9 at 13 o'clock German time. The winner will be picked with a Random Generator (is it called like this???).

Special winners:
The first 3 followers who enter will not only have the chance to win the giveaway, but they also get a special present, too, something especially handmade by me. What it is will be still a secret.
Then another two followers will be picked by the Random Generator to get a special handmade present, too.

So, there will be 6 winners in total. 1 for the giveaway, and five for the handmade presents. I hope the rules were not too complicated XD But I wanted to have more winners than just one. Good luck to everyone who enters! I am so excited since this is my first giveaway. If this works out well, there will be more to come!

Last but not least: here is the list of the items you can win: 2 mini tote bags with japanese tradiotional pattern, a yellow cellphone bag, a furoshiki (japanese hankerchief), pink Kitty travel bag, 2 huge Kitty stickers, 2 clear folders (Cinnamoroll and Isloroannic), Kitty Origami paper, Monkichi note, 2 erasers (Nyanko and Tarepanda) 2 straps (Kerori and Kitty), 2 sharp-pencils (Rilakkuma and Nyanko), 2 pencils (Mamegoma and Cinnamoroll) 5 keychains (Mamegoma, Bleach, Takuto, Korilakkuma and Tori) All items are from Japan, exept for the little Kitty strap.

Oh well, now I have written a whole novel...

Oh and check out Laurita's awesome giveaway, too!!!

Wheeee!!

Today the postman ringed at the door to bring me a certain package!!!! At first I thought: what package? I didn't order anything. But then I suddenly knew from whom it might be. XDDD I was so happy when I got it, but it took about 10 minutes before I managed to free the contents from those thousands of layers of cellotape :-))) Thanks for packing it so thoroughly! I had my fun!

It was the first giveaway ever for me to win, so I will always remember it! I will also treasure this beautiful piece of jewelry and wear it thouroughly. Thanks again to Rick who has made a young girl very, very happy. For those who know you and your funny posts, you are a real enrichment to the blogosphere. Thanks again for that beautiful necklace, you made my day!
My next entry will be (hopefully) about the surprise I promised to write about since long ago:-)) Look forward and have nice day (it is already evening here).

It's done!

Very short update today: I handed in my Bachelor Thesis this morning!! It was a great feeling holding the printed form of the paper, which you worked on for such a long time. Now, I just have to get my Transcript of Records signed and that's it. And, yeah, I have to gain a good mark for that paper, too. :-))) Have a great day, everyone!

Purikura :-)

Are you guys interested in seeing some of my purikura I made in Japan?? I was scanning anyway yesterday, so I thought I could also scan a page of my purikura book. They are from summer 09, where I've spent 6 weeks in Japan with my sister. Sorry for this short and random post. I decided to post more often from now on, even if it's only about trifles :-) But more interesting posts are surely to come!

Looking back at those purikura makes me feel very nostalgic, and I am having the travel bug again! And I want my short hair back! :-)) They've grown the last 7 months...XDDD

Happy Birthday! :-)

I said I had a surprise in my next entry, but I fear this has to wait a little bit more! So please be patient a little more! Today I just want to wish Audrey a very happy belated birthday! It's one day to late, sorry for that! But I hope you had a wonderful birthday! Here's a cake for you!
And I have changed my blog's title, btw. Not everyone speaks Japanese as I do, I guess, so I had better take an english title :-)

I love looking at shop displays, here in Germany they are nothing special, even quite boring one could say, but in Japan, they are awesome! About Reunions

I've been absent for too long, sorry!! I wanted to post much more the last days, but I was sick and tired and lazy :-( This is no excuse, I know XD
This week was a week of reunions and meeting people I haven't seen for a very long time. I met with two friends I graduated from high school together with. The last time we met was in 2006, right after graduation. It was kinda cool to exchange news about the last 4 years, and we realized how much has happened. But luckily those two didn't change at all, we got along very good, and had a lovely chat about the good old times. ^0^ And today I met with the other view, who spent half a year in Japan. It was soooo good to see her again, since I really missed her a lot. I hope I can see her again many times before she leaves for Japan again. The reunions made me realize that there are a lot of persons I really miss and who I'd love to meet again, for example my two best friends from my time in Lower Saxony, or my friends in Japan. I'd also love to meet all the people I got to know through blogging, you are awesome people! :-))) I want to maintain all of my contacts, so let's keep in touch.

A piece of me in April and short update

Hello everyone, are you enjoying your Easter holidays? I would if I could. I've been kinda sick the last two days, nothing serious, though. I am feeling unwell, had a slight fever and stomachache, hope it will be over soon. What a bad luck, after having such a great birthday celebration with my family. I got some really nice presents. If I find some time I will post a foto.

It is time for another "A piece of me", now in April. Almost forgot about it.

This month:
I like: There are many things that I liked, I finished my last acadamic paper two weeks sooner than planned, I won my first giveway, had a lovely birthday.

I don't like: That university starts again on April, 12. Holidays are over way too fast. I have already gained all of my credits, so I am taking some classes voluntarily, while waiting for my final results. I have paid the tution fee for this semester, so why not taking some classes for fun!

I want you to know: I am so thankful for your support and your kind words. I have discoverd that blogging is a great way to find new friends all over the world. I will think of a way of how to show my gratitude to you. Maybe a giveaway or somthing similar is coming soon?? :-)

I've planned: To find a part time job to earn some money for my next trip to Japan. I already have one, as a home tutor. But I will need at least one more. Hopefully the trip will become a year of Working Holiday in Japan, it is my next great aim after graduation.

Happy Birthday To Me!

Hi everyone, I have some good news to share with you! Firstly, my graduation paper is done!!!! In a whole, it has 42 pages, 11 pictures and 10951 words. I can't express in words how relieved I am now. At the moment it is being proof-read, and if everythings free of typos etc. I will have it binded the next week. There shouldn't be anything between me and my Bachelor's degree now! :-))))
Secondly, it is my birthday today! Though the real celebration will be tomorrow, when everyone gathers here. So my birthday post will come the next days!

Have pictures of the cherry blossoms in Japan, which my friend sent me today! I am envious of their beautiful weather...

EDIT: This is not an April Fool's, but it is snowing atm in my town.... :-)))) It has become colder again...
