Just some Christmas Impressions

Hi friends, time for a short update! I've been busy with work and preparation for my upcoming trip to NYC in just 5 days! Wheee, I seriously can't wait! Still so many things to do before I leave, but somehow it feels good to know I'll be abroad again XDD

Today I met my lovely friend Theresa for browsing the Christmas Market and for window shopping. We looked for new items we could take for our project "twin-outfit". Yeah, we wanna do a twin outfit together, it will be fun! Never done that before, so I've always wanted to create one!  Stay tuned for our twin-outfit! Well, it sounds as if I'm announcing it so big and then in the end it will be just something normal, lol.

Anyway, have some fotos of today :)

 Some of the boothes

 Cute decoration

Christmas windmill where Glühwein is sold

My favourite candy store where I always get my nostalgic candy

The huge Christmas Tree in front of our city hall

I don't know what this is called, birth of Jesus Christ?? XD Hey don't blame me I'm an antheist :)

A nostalgic Merry Go for children <3

 Theresa and a lovely tree

Chocolate goodies (foto secretly taken in the departmenst store, hahaha We were so afraid the staff would come and scold us, lol)

Sugarbird cupcakes (my favourite cupcake cafe) I shared with my sis the other day! Left Oreo Cream, right Tiramisu

I scribbled this list at work today! While most people make a list about what to see/visit I made a list of what to eat, lol. Ya, that's me, I love eating and I'm so much looking forward to stuff myself with tasty food in New York. And of course Starbucks!!! XDD THEY HAVE MACCHA FRAPPUCHINO IN THE US <3<3<3 My fav drink in Starbucks Japan! SB Germany doesn't have it...

There are still so many things to look forward to this week! Tomorrow's my Mum's birthday celebration, we'll have a feast at home! Thursday I'll have dinner with two good friends and Karaoke at the weekend! Wish you a nice week as well! Love, TT.

My Blog's Second Anniversary

Today, Nov 23 two years ago I started my blog! Can't believe it is already that old and that I'm still posting! I once had a live journal, which didn't survive that long obviously, lol. I deleted it long ago, and never regretted coming to Blogger! Honestly, Blogging has become such an enrichment to my life, I've met awesome people, some even in real life which have become good friends XD I'd love to meet more of you in the near future.

Anyways, I decided it was time again for a Giveaway to celebrate this wonderful occasion!!

I scribbled this at work today, lol! On the back page of a fax I worked with hahaha.

A handwritten letter, also scribbled at work for you! <3<3

Well, as for the the goods you can win: It is still a surprise!! Have you ever entered a giveaway without knowing what you might win?? I thought it was something new, so I'm gonna try that! The goods will be purchased in NYC, where I'll spend my holiday starting Dec 5.

To enter just leave me a comment with your name and email. You have time until I leave for NYC on Dec 5. There is only one condition, this giveaway is only open to my current (as of Nov 23 2011) 451 followers. This is a thank you giveaway for the readers that have followed me these last past two years, for those who always comment with their kind words, for those who have given me great advice, and for those who I've met (or yet to meet) who proofed to be real friends.

Thank you! I hope you'll stick with me and this random blog for some while longer...XD

Funny Saturday Afternoon

Hey, did you all have a nice weekend? Too bad it is already over, well almost ;) I found some time to do some stuff and of cousre to post for you! Here is my Saturday report!

I got to meet my lovely japanese friend M. again after such a long time! She is working in Germany and is the same age as me, so we had a good time. It was so much fun to talk in japanese again, I really missed it! First we went to the jap. bookstore, then we strolled a bit through the Christmas Market and had coffee and cake at World Coffee! Have some fotos!

Some random trees I saw in town... Does anyone know what these are? XD

A very cute and huuuge Gingerbread-Man, it is even edible ;))

A sneak peak of the Christmas Market, I plan to take proper fotos next time I go!

I found this very lovely shop which sells nostalgic sweets, many of those I still know from my own childhood! The owner was so nice, I got to talk with her and she gave us an extra lolli-pop with our purchase XD

We were so tired from walking around the whole day so we got ourselves hot coffee and cake and World Coffee bar! My point card is full now, next time I'm gonna enjoy a free coffee :)

My friend M.'s mobile phone! She said it was such a normal boring German phone that she had to make japanese deco-den on it, and it look s so good! <3

I saw these super cute decorations outside the mall, but did not have the time to go and look for this shop, I wanna have some cute decoration for our X-Mas tree this year!

Doesn't she look lovely? Her outfit was Liz Lisa, so cute!

The two of us ;) As you can see, I cut my bang, it is still not even, but I will fix it soon.

I tried out some new flash functions of the camera, didn't know there were so many options, hahaha. Oh and please don't pay attention to the messy background, lol.

My outfit of the day. I wanted to have something comfy as we planned to walk the whole day. My beloved engeneer boots are perfect for such an occasion XD

It was such a lovely day, thanks to my friend XD It really felt like being in JP again, we already made plans when I will visit her back home in Japan, she invited me for a homestay at her place in Fukuoka, kyaaaaa <3<3<3<3 I have special feelings for the city of Fukoka in Kyushu, it was the very first place in Japan I ever visited, back in 2007 when I spoke no word japanese, was on my very own in a country so far away from home... But the experience I gained there are priceless. Ever since then I've not been in Kyushu, again, so it is high time to go there once again! :)))

I so don't wanna go to work tomorrow, lol. Have a nice rest weekend! <3

Bubble Tea with Theresa

Hi friends, I know I wanted to post on the weekend, but I didn't manage somehow ;__; Sometimes things don't work as planned. Anyways, finally found some time to post again! Today the Christmas Markt in Düsseldorf opened! But I didn't go, I'm planning to do so the next week. Looking so much forward to that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas Season in Germany! Last year I missed all the chrismassy atmosphere because I was in Japan, so I'm happy to get to go this year. Of course I'm gonna take loads of fotos for you!

As for today I met my lovely friend Theresa after work, she got to drink her very first Bubble Tea, and she liked it! I'm glad, cause it is not everyone's taste. Well, it's being hyped right now, it is full of customers every day! But I always take the same order when I'm there, lol. Got used to it and don't wanna try out something new, haha! Have some pictures!!

Our company gave us employees a "Weckmann" for Saint Martin's Day last week which was so nice! I got two of those yummy men XDDD

I discovered these cute X-Mas decoration last weekend while shopping with the family XD So adorable!

Finally our Bubble Teas!! I had the same as always: Warm Milk Tea with normal Jelly!

Theresa curiously trying out BT for the first time! How does she manage to look so good every time? :)

Well, I actually didn't want to post that, but then I thought why not, lol. See the difference in cuteness level?? XDD (Ahh, my nails look horrible, I was so busy I didn't even find the time to remove the polish...)

Tried out the retro style of my camera (didn't know I had something like that :) I'm gonna chop off my hair again this weekend, it has become way too long again, specially the bangs...)

You must be bored seing pics of our faces only, hahaha! I wanted to take a pic of my outfit, too but couldn't get a decent shot)

 With normal flash XD

Empty cups ;)

Lol, in the end this post was just so useless. But only a few years ago, I really really used to hate pictures of myself, I refused to take pictures/ to be on pictures!! If I was, I wouldn't want anybody to see them. At that time it was unimaginable that  I would once post pics of myself voluntarily, hahaha! In this sense, blogging has given me more self-confidence and I even got to love fotos. If that isnt't anything!! <3

Well, sorry to drift off-topic! Hope you all have a nice start into the weekend! See you! :)

Lately Stuff and Meetup with Lotti and Alina

Hi friends, I haven't posted for quite a while now, hope you are doing fine? I'm okay, work has been a bit  busy again, though. But thank God it is Friday tomorrow! I can't wait for the weekend! The last days were just work and heading home, I didn't feel like meeting someone or doing something fun. But today I got to meet Charlotte and Alina agan, it was such a funny day after work! Have some fotos from the meetup and from the last days :)

My lovely friend B. who is doing Working Holiday in Tokyo right now sent me this super cute Rilakkuma letter and sticker!! I was so happy when I got this!

My new knitting project, what it's gonna be? Still a secret! XD

Charlotte and me (why does my face looks so swollen here?? XD)

Stuff she brought back for me from her JP trip last week! My new schedule book from Little Twin Stars is sooo lovely ;)

Alina's cute and fluffy Liz Lisa bag! I wanted to touch it the whole time, lol

 Blurry mirror pics, haha!

This one tuned out well, I'm the tiniest, as always XDD

Alina's cute outfit today! I really adore how much effort she puts into her everyday outfits!

My porcelain smile, hahahaha. No honestly, I look weird when my mouth is closed

It was so much fun to just hang around with the them, talking doing funny fotos, and exchanging "presents". Alina was picked up by her boyfriend, and they offered to bring me home as well, so nice!! I'm looking forward seeing them again soon! We already talked about future meetings and what to do then, I'm so much looking forward!

When I came home my sis opened her parcel from JP, it was from her japanese friend! She sent her some wonderful Rilakkuma stuff which I also can use, yatta! *__*

My sis made this pottery herself during her exchange in Japan!! Yeah, it is handmade, I couldn't believe it cause it looks so perfect!! Can't wait to use it for my next home made japanese meal, hihi!

Meet my new Tori soup mug! My friend L. who is living in JP right now managed to collect enough points at our fav Combini Lawson!! When you are reading this L, thank you so much!!

Meet the whole Rilakkuma family!!! (I got the other soup mugs 2010 and 2011 also from Lawson Convinience Store)

So much about my day, hope you had a nice one, too! To all of my working friends, stay strong until the weekend!! I try to post again on Sunday :) See you!

My Plushies and me

Hi friends, just one more day and then it is weekend! Do you already have plans ahead? My weekend is still free, so does anybody wants to meet up, lol?

Today I just though about being a good blogger and post, but about what? XD So I dug up some pics from my computer which my sis took some while ago, of almost all of our plushies we have in our house. I said almost, because we actually forgot some, hahaha. If you have so many you eventually loose the overview ;) Have some pictures!

Most of them are Rilakkuma and friends from JP which I brought back home the past 4 years XD

Note: I didn't buy them all, most of them were presents from our japanese friends or we caught them in UFO catcher, hahaha.

The rest which is not Rilakkuma XDD

Everything <3

Okay, that was just a random post for fun, see you guys next post ;)
