Christmas is over

Hello everyone, did you have a wonderful Chridstmas as I did? I really hope so. Can't believe it is over again. I got some nice presents this year, mainly money and small stuff you need for everyday life, so I am very satisfied with that. Btw, today I got your Christmas card, my dear Sara! I was so happy about it, and thank you again for your kind words and lovely stickers! I wish you a very nice time in Japan and hope to hear from you soon! (photo shows me (left) and my little sister, and the bear belongs to my elder sister :- )

It's snowing!

I can't believe it, it has been snwoing for two days now. The snow looks so beautiful, and I really enjoy watching out of the window atm, because it is really rare to have snow here in the region where I live. I was so hoping for a white Christmas, maybe it will still be white in a few days. The weather forecast said it will be become milder, though.... The first picture shows the park in my neighbourhood and the second was made outside when I was going home from a Christmas party.

Today I got a lovely Christmas card from my japanese friend Ayumi. It's from Sanrio and features the most important Sanrio Characters. I would like to hug her, if possible. Love you so much, Ayumi-chan! Did anyone of you also get some decent Christmas cards or greetings? XD

I promised to send my prof my material until the end of this week. Looks like I need to do a night shift after posting, oh no...

Christmas Baking

I decided to do some Christmas Baking and here I proudly present the results! For those of you who don't follow my livejournal, I still didn't give up on it and try to post the same things on both blogs :-) The cookies I made were simple butter cream cookies with marzipan filling and milk chocolate cover. Very delicious, I already shared some with my friends:-)

Christmas Market

Last weekend the Christmas Market opened here in Germany, and my friends and me went strolling around it, eating tasty stuff and looking at the stuff being sold. The prices are as high as the stars at the sky, I have the feeling it becomes more expensive every year, especially the food. But since the Christmas Market is part of the German culture, I really don't wanna miss it. I am looking forward to it every year and enjoy it to the fullest. The time before Christmas is actually nicer than the real event on Dec, 24, I think. So cozy and cold, ideal time for baking cookies and watching DVDs with friends, and of course going to the Christmas Market.
