I`m back :)

Hey friends, I've been back from my trip to Japan for a week now and finally find some time to tell you :) I'm still jet-legged, have been working non-stop since my return, the winter has come back and doesn't seem to leave Germany (it is snowing heavily while I write these lines), my 26th birthday is around the corner and I have soooo less time for all the things I wanna do. So this is pretty much everything which has been around me lately, I will soon start posting pictures from my trip which has been super awesome!! I met many new interesting people, went to Tokyo Disneyland, had reunions with long time no see friends and just enjoyed normal japanese lifestyle hahaha. I hope you're all doing alright!!

Short Hiatus

Actually I wanted to have a Japan-related post up here before I leave for vacation, but I won't have the time for it I guess, so I just wanted to say bye for a short time, see you when I'm back again. This time I hopefully will have more detailed travel posts coming up compared to my last trip in December last year.

But very very happy at the end! :) Thank you so much for your kindness, you know me too well with my love for Rilakkuma XD I can't wait to see you all soon again!

Another (Japan-related) post is coming up soon, this was just to share my joy with you, lol. I might really cry as I've just posted on fb about Tokyo Disneyland, but this time because I'm blessed with the best friends one can have.

Wow so much time has passed...

I've negelcted the blog for quite some while and didn't realize so much time has passed again! I'm doing fine, work is good and still a few weeks before my holiday, I couldn't wish for more, maybe just some more time XD

Those of you who follow me on Facebook might have seen I'm obsessed lately with Macarons!! I've bought a cooking book, many new expensive kitchen supplies like a sugar thermometer, an electronic kitchen scale and what not to bake the Macarons, but my first five tries ended in a more or less desaster... But yesterday I finally managed to bake the perfect Macarons which made me so proud ;) All the hard work is rewarded. Yeah, some might say it doesn't matter how it looks like, the taste is more important, but I'm a perfectionist reagarding baking, and why not have the perfect looks and the delicious taste together, lol. So have some pictures!

 This book helped me a lot, it teaches the basics!

 With flash, the colour tone is about snow-white, I didn't buy any food coulouring yet.

You can't believe how happy I was when those little Macaron feet showed up! The feet are the most important Macarons caracteristics. On my first tries it always stayed flat...

Tomorrow I'll bake some more and then I'll also make the cream filling, still thinking about what filling to choose... Maybe a butter cream or a Mascarpone cream, or maybe both, lol. Baking really makes addicting, and I can't wait to let my friends try the delicious Macarons :)

 About a week ago my colleage invited me home and she made an amazing traditional german cheesecake!

When we headed to work we were sooooo full XD

 A few days ago I met up with my friend Kaddy, she was around in town so we definitely had to meet up! I had Matcha Latte :)

 We did some Purikura and spend hours chatting at TenTen Cafe :) It was so good to see you Kaddy!

This is turning more and more into a food blog, lol but I hope you enjoyed all the fotos nevertheless! See you!

Just some small Updates

Hi there, I just wanted to post something again XD Not much is happening right now, it seems winter will be back the next couple of days so I'm looking forward to the chaos at work... not. Let's hope all of my planes will start without any problems. It is actually not the first time of having snow here in Germany, lol but as soon as it starts snowing there is chaos, why?????? People don't learn their lessons. 

Anyways. Tomorrow the carnival season starts here, and as I'm not a fan of that celebrations I won't leave the house except for work ;) And I'm baking something for Valentines Day soon, and distribute that among my friends, hope it will turn out well. Oh yes, and I'm counting the days until my holiday, I am sooooo excited and really can't wait! Then I'll have loads of interesting stuff to post about :)

 I had a facial at home yesterday using these awesome masks from Pure Smile!! Next time I'm in Japan I've gotta bring tons of those back home.
